Rebau Begins Painting Work at E.B. 2,3 Montenegro School

Publication Date: 5 Aug, 2024

Rebau is pleased to announce the start of painting work at the E.B. 2,3 Montenegro School in Faro. The project, awarded by the Municipality of Faro, aims to revitalize the external appearance of the school, providing a more welcoming and inspiring environment for students, teachers and staff.
Sobre o Projeto:

The project includes the conservation and maintenance of various elements of the school:

General painting of the exterior of the school:

This covers the exterior walls of the building, which will receive acrylic paint after a primer has been applied.

Painting on metal:

Metal elements such as doors, windows, railings and other façade details will be painted. The process includes preparing the surface, applying an anti-corrosive primer primer and finishing with enamel paint.

“Our aim is to create a more welcoming and inspiring school environment for everyone. We go beyond simple painting, guaranteeing the durability and quality of the finish through specialized techniques and high-performance materials.”

Surface preparation is a crucial point in the project. Rebau will carry out a thorough cleaning of the exterior walls with high-pressure washing and the removal of loose paint and mortar. Cracks in the plaster will be carefully repaired with specific products, ensuring the integrity of the structure and an impeccable end result.

The metal elements of the façade will receive a special treatment to ensure their protection and beauty. The application of anti-corrosive primer and enamel paint will provide a resistant and durable finish, preserving the metal structure and enhancing the school's aesthetics.

Rebau would like to express its gratitude to the Municipality of Faro for the trust it placed in the company to carry out this important work. We would also like to thank the team at the E.B. 2,3 Montenegro School for their collaboration and support throughout the process. We look forward to delivering a project that benefits the entire school community and the city of Faro.
